I remember a time.
It was long ago, during closed and open beta and the first stages of Uprising.
Back then, the SP you had wasn't that big so when you choose a role, you choose that role and you had to stick with it.
Back then Logi's didn't complained about not being able to be combat effective because they knew the weaknesses that came with that role.
Scouts didn't complained about getting killed fast because (well yeah some did but the QQs were not that abundant) because the knew their suits were not meant for the frontlines and had to rely on infiltration and stealth tactics.
Heavies, well much haven't changed. They are still slow and can take a wallop before going down.
And Assaults? Well they endured. They knew they weren't the best for equipment magament, not the best to tank hits like a heavy and not fast or small enough to be sneaky and infiltrate like the scout.
Back then people played the roles they choose and not complained.
Now? The Dust of today has created a bunch of milk drinkers. (All of us are included)
And I blame CCP too. Instead of them adding some more SP sinks for the players with a lot of life time SP. All they did was increase a few multipliers and add the atrocious and useless basic frames. Which hinder the new players more than they vets.
Now we got long time running vets specced into every suit and role. Them being able to switch on to different roles on the fly by a supply depot whenever they felt like it.
I am pretty sure that wasn't CCP's intent.
Now almost all vets are stuck with this "I am supposed to do everything because I can" mentality and that is not healthy for the game itself.
All that Bandwith does is give logi's a better role on the battlefield. Now that no suit will be able to spam equipment as freely as they are doing now, this will make logi's much more needed in the battle. And when I say Logi, I mean real tru Logi's.
They guys that actually specced into the role of Logi because they like providing support for their team
Not the logi's that specced into the suit because they needed it for PC or because they had more than enough SP to spare so they dumped it into a logi suit because why not?
PS: Excuse my grammar and my english.
