A long standing problem with Nanohives, is that their reward is minimal.
Even if you were to resupply the entire team, you'd only receive 160 WP. Given how repairing even a single person can net anywhere between 500-700 WP (if they're armored) that's far too low.
To fix this, I propose that Nanohives yield 35 WP for every cluster given, as opposed to WP for every person supplied. This will allow you to obtain a reasonable WP total by resupplying your squad/

And fully repairing has little to do with rep tool wp,as does it's length.
I suggest instead,as a logistics exclusive bonus, increasing carried amount. This way hives can match the longevity of rep tools.
But as it stands. Rep tools: -must be in-hand to use (making you defenseless) -must keep the user in danger of being shot/blown up
Hives: -can be quickly thrown (doesn't make you defenseless) -don't have to be within a certain radius to use
Risk wise rep tools are higher, and thus rewarded more. Nanos are less so and their WP reflects this.
Increased amount carried (logistics exclusive) would shorten the WP gap some though.

The can become overrun or "outdated".

35wp per cluster times 48 clusters (advanced/ proto hive) is 1680wp, per hive. It is a bit high but a good place to start!

They do need a change to the WP mechanic, per nanites would be good, as that would work like the rep tool
Currently I can drop a garbage hive and get the same amount of WP as Proto, the rewards need to be scaled, especially since they've just done that with the Nanite Injector |

So an ammo resupply is more valuable than HP repair and spawn location(both25WP)?

Increase reward from 10 to 15
Or
Increase reward from 10 to 25, decrease triage from 25 to 15
This is balance. Logistics already have an insane amount of wp potential.

While I would agree that the nanohive reward should be increased, it should be minimal, like increased to 15 as it is set and forget technology requiring nothing more than deploying in high traffic area to gain wp from.
Increasing it to 35 and guaranteeing rewards per cluster would foster -so- much boosting it wouldn't even be funny.
A proto C.K0 logi throwing down 3 nanohives for 72 clusters each would garner 7560 points by the time they are depleted. Set that down in a cluster under a heavy or two and you have an orbital and a half in the first minute of the game. Set the frago for 11340 points. Frago'd and within 50 meters of an objective? 14175. And that's just for that single player, if frago'd, the squad leader would receive 1080 from the frago bonus as well.
No thank you.

I don't think WP should be increased, but I agree with you on rewarding each tick.

My hives don't last...unless I put them in a really stupid, useless location where my own teammates don't even see them.
They are expended quickly or destroyed. They will be destroyed even more often now with the new warbarge strikes.
I empathize with the OP's premise that, for their cost in ISK and fitting space, hives do not yield many WP compared to other equipment (unless spammed).
However, I believe increasing the WP per hive would just lead to exploitative behavior. Who HASN'T seen squads drop hives in a circle at the end of a battle and have everyone shoot in the air to rack up more meaningless points . Imagine how standardized this behavior would become if even more WP were given per hive
I like Meee One's idea. Hives should be considered as disposables. Increasing the number carried (not deployable) would do this without encouraging exploitative behavior. Tying the number carriable to logistics suit skill, if possible, would be ideal IMO.
This reinforces the goal of encouraging folks to "persist" in Logi suits and increases the value of a Logi throughout the course of battle, not just for "setting the table" at the beginning.
Aside: For more sturdy "hives", CCP should bring back the notion of Warbarge-deployable supply depots.
FPS = First Person Support. Kills win battles but it's kinda hard to kill if you're dead and out of ammo.
