The 3 burst CR is the original and more powerful one.

Lemme guess, one of two things happened.
1)You're too lazy to tap the shoot button to get more accurate and damaging shots with the CR
Or
2)You read the word 'assault' in the weapon title and automatically assumed it was better. Roll

In skilled hands the CR is much better than the ACR.

Right now the only Minmatar suit that has the ASSAULT version of the combat rifle is the Logistics one. Can we please get the assault version of the rifle on the assault suit? It only makes sense after all.

Trying to 3 round burst someone at point blank range (while possible) is not the designed intent of a tactical rifle.

Nope on both, I prefer and use the non-assault version most of the time. when using a "free suit" that has the assault version on it (APEX shaman) then I still find that I rapidly tap the fire button anyways and it results in better game as it massively reduces recoil/dispersion and I kill the target faster anyways. But I know other players that prefer the assault combat rifle over the combat rifle. And by putting it onto only ONE of the FIVE suits that the Minmatar use, well... That's just wrong.
