One thing to look into may be the targeting speed of the HMG while firing; GRADUALLY decrease the speed with which you can aim while firing (giving a sense of "weight" to heavy weapons) and you'd find scouts/faster medium frames pose more of a threat. Make small tweaks to the speed settings and not a massive change at once and see how it plays out...

Not on right now. So no, more so because of asking for it, but still I'm logged out.

I personally suggest everyone go to youtube and find out what a minigun actually does and consider standing in front of one.
Then I suggest they consider we have the slowest turn speed and movement in the game.
Also don't run into the barrel of the gun.
But to fix it? Decrease range and increase damage, decrease the heat build up to back how it was. It should be a CQ weapon aside from the assault version. The assault should have less spread and longer range as the gun is poop right now .3.
