It has come to my attention that not a single big corp has or will survive. I can give plenty of examples but that will be a waste of my time. Everyone that tries to bring about a new order will fail. Vengeance unbound's collapse has inspired me since they are a prime example. 3rd time ain't the charm I guess. Even Titans of Phoenix will collapse. Pure evil in their prime fell and even the time when ERA controlled almost the whole star map met its untimely end at domestic affairs. Regardless, I am open to debate on this topic. Maybe project legion will give us a new chance and change us...or maybe it will worsen us, who knows?

The hell is OP talking about? The stability of most corps in PC was compromised because of CCP - not many groups left on there own, CCP showed them the way out with how terribly they handled this game.
It's a real achievement of the personalities that found a home in Dust that we have the people we have today still fighting over PC and it's almost valueless affairs.
Because the only reason anyone at all posts or play this game is for the friends and communication offered better here then anywhere else. |

I wont go example for example. I said it was open to debate. So far I only see people proving me wrong by cherry picking succesful corps. The topic at hand is not black and white. Yes i admit i was part of a lot of corps, but that was because i was a drifter. If you judge me for my corps, then you're sad. If anyone has a VALID argument, please speak it. Enroll in a World History course. Though I suspect, this game might shed insight to our current perception of history: you'll notice, many attempt to "change" the legacy their corp left. Makes me wonder...how much real history has been lost to conquering armies?

Them canceling legion and deciding to port DUST to PS4 would be a dream scenario.
Or, ya know, developing Legion for PS4 but then it would be cross-platform and lame because the PC players would dominate us 
so yeah, DUST on PS4 would be sick. But I doubt that will happen because PS2 is the competition and it's a pretty established game already.

If you rely on a bunch of PC all stars to keep your corp afloat then it's a recipe for disaster. Having a mix of players doesn't lend itself to holding onto elite slayers, but I think it keeps the corp going after those dudes bounce after losing two or three matches.
The pheonixfed/Necro/Last Vendetta/VU dudes aren't really like that, but for whatever reason they have a hard time sticking together for more than three months. I think it has more to do with the work that PC puts on a few directors and the CEO. Which points to having a solid alliance helping to elliviate the ebbs and flows of officer activity in a PC corp. as much as CAP seems unhappy to be in Tso's it must have been nice to come back to Dust and see that the beds were still made with the lights on.

To me it doesnt matter what corp you are in,whether it is succesful,merges,or broken and players go seprate ways.The only thing about a corp that matters to me is the chatroom.Easy way to talk/squad up with your friends.After i left vengence i evaluated offers,and saw where my friends go. Thats all this game is to me...a place to squad up and have fun.

Thank you for your input. I stay in uptown for the same reason. My friends are elsewhere but I care little for big and/or successful corps.
