Remove squads from PUBLIC BATTLES (only) bcause squad is OP ! [or] decrease the squad size to 2 or 3 (to have a lil fun) Then balance the team like the k/d of the top 6 (from each team) is the same or near <----- Because taking the k/d of the entire team is difficult due to the small player base. For instance..Team 1 :uuu k/d 4,vvv k/d,www k/d 7, xxx k/d 3, yyy k/d 6, zzz k/d 5. Total k/d -4.16 Team 2:aaa k/d 6 ,bbb k/d 7.5,ccc k/d 3,ddd k/d 3,eee k/d 2,fff k/d 3.2 Total K/d-4.11 What do u think ? pls dont say 'No'. make this idea better if u r not dumber than me. |

It's a terrible idea simply because it detracts from the social aspect of DUST, which believe it or not is the sole reason why most players still play this game.
A better idea would be to increase the team size by 2 and then have Scotty form teams which only have squads in them. That way if you're in a squad of 6 you'd be placed on a team with 2 other squads against 3 squads.
If squad size is less than 3, than they'd be placed in a match with other solo-players fighting other solo players (or squads of 2). Those with 3 or higher would be placed into the same que as other squads.
Have Scotty mix-and-match based on Mu and you'll make it to where each battle is filled with nothing but evenly matched teams. Squads fight squads, and soloers fight soloers.

But balancing team based on mu is stupid. It shud be based on either k/d or w/l of the top 6, preferably. |

DUST is **** without a full squad to **** talk in.
As Atiim said the social aspect is the only thing CCP did right in DUST.

K/D doesn't matter and your W/L just shows how often you're in a squad. Neither are a good show of usefulness to a team, apart from K/D in ambush. Then again, ambush is a bad joke.
Trust me, the matchmaking would work wonderfully if there was enough people playing DUST but that isn't the case.
Might as well find a group of players of a similar skill level as you and get in squad chat and get to know 'em.

It's not the sole reason... You mistake thinking that other people think like you. I'm a predominantly solo player, and the social aspect has no bearing on the 20 hours I play a week. Speak more for yourself and less for the community. |

Um, lol no. Have an actual matchmaking like every other game does would help millions and make this game actually fun.
I love Rattati, but the mu system seemed like a half-assed attempt that only worked like half of the time, according to players. |

I don't want to entirely trash your opinion but until you get on regularly with a group of players and gain a sort of synergy with them you'll very rarely know what it feels like to "git gud". DUST as a game rewards teamplay far too much for a solo player to be successful.
You're not getting stomped, you're just alone.

They need new content.better gameplay. better frame rate & then there are people who want this game on ps4 & PC. So ccp need to maintain the current player base as it is by better gameplay (atleast) |

Where did I distribute my opinion? All I did was state a fact. I do not personally play the game for the social aspect, hence his statement was false. |

I haven't seen any of these matches where the MU systems fails completely that are mentioned above but i only play a few matches a week these days.
What I have seen is even team as far as squads and solo's go but there is no accounting for equipment that each team can field (No this isn't a remove proto kit from from pub matches post).
I would propose (and have done before) that as part of the battle selection screen you can choose wether you fight in highsec or lowsec and depending on this a maximum equipment Meta meta level is assigned. i,e. you would not be able to use anything higher than advanced in highsec for example.
If you choose the lowsec option your fight would have proto or faction gear in it... maybe being prototype kit the immortals are wanting to keep it as far away from concords prying eyes as possible or some other herfblurf since its pushing the envelope for stability in a weapon or something....
This maybe provides a step along from the academy matches where new(ish) soldiers can opt to take contracts in highsec only and face forces similarly equipped (even if the players are more advanced).
Anyone getting annoyed by reading of the above post should consider the following.
I don't care so neither should you :)
