Hi guys, I have all the core skills I wanted and I m now ready to skill my first proto suit. I want to join a corp that plays PC and I want to play PC so I need a suit that will let me be competitive.
What do you suggest me? I mostly play assault so wich one would you suggest me to play PC, wich one is the most competitive suit for PC?

i can see heavys and shotgun scouts being nerfed in the near future. so i would say mim assault or amarr assault might be a good choice in the meta by the time you get the suit to proto.

I have all the Assaults at 5, and proficiency 4 or 5 on all of the racial weapons (SR,RR,AR,CR).
Every one of these suits and racial weapon work well. The recent RR nerf will likely get undone to some extent with a new bonus on the Caldari Assault. The Scrambler Rifle is fantastic for charged shots vs shield scouts. The AR, and especially the Breach AR are awesome right now. The Combat Rifle, and definitely the Assault Combat Rifle, are great for run-and-gun twitch shooting.
As for PC, I can't tell you what you are looking for.

Pretty much all the Assaults are equal right now. It really comes down to preffered play style. I would suggest the Minassault if you absolutely want to use an Assault in PC.
None of them are really competitive in PC though. You really need a Scout, Sentinel, or occasionally, a Logi(Amarr or Minmatar) if you want to be a factor in PC.

I already have SP to go proto, I collected them and I got some from the event. I d Like to play PC now so wich assault should I choose? I want a suit that when I tell "I have this suit to proto" they dont laught at me and go search another player for the PC. |

Hi,
It might come down to which militia or basic suits you are favoring.
You don't want to spec into a faster minmatar if you prefer using a slower tanked Amar style for example.
Generally the scouts are better assaults in PC because of speed, harder to detect, two equipment slots, faster shield regen, better strafe.
If your going to stay pure assault the Amar does very well, but again if you don't use scrambler or an assault rifle it might not be the best choice
