Is there a reason that it's so inconsistent?
I'm curious if it would be easier to simply award a set amount of ISK for a win or loss with a bonus based on combat actions.
Such as killing an enemy infantryman paying out 10,000 ISK, blapping a dropship paying 30,000, etc.
Right now the ISK rewards are weak, which you acknowledged already, but more problems occur because they seem entirely random and arbitrary with little to no correlation between effort and risk.
If you win at the top or lose at the top you end with about the same paycheck.
The ISK value of what is destroyed is arbitrary and utterly inconsistent when the termination of a vehicle should be termination of a vehicle, not a calculation based off each mod.
A clone killed is a clone killed. The only difference between a militia and proto kill is how much each lost when they died.
Plus I believe a consistent reward that conforms to actions taken rather than value of the enemy BPOS would be easier to balance and encourage more violent competition and less risk aversion.
Thanks for listening.

They correlate with how much stuff is lost. SO If I kill 20 Protos, and I win, I get a greater share of the twenty proto's cost, split between the team.
I agree with your thoughts, however.
Why is it that I don't get more money for dropping more guys, or for repping dudes?
I think That payouts should run off the WP earned, solely.
100,000+(WP*40)
So, if you play very well, and get 2,000 WP, you get 180,000 ISK.
If you play Ok, and get 1000 WP, you get 140,000 ISK.
If you do quite bad, and get 300WP, you get 112,000 ISK.
Seems fair, IMO. Admittedly, a BIT biased to good players, but I'd say they deserve it.

I don't think that this formula would reward "good" game play. When I say good, I mean "Dynamic, Team-Oriented Game play". As for a specific case that I'm thinking of that violates "good" game play, I'm thinking of Logis that remain tethered to their heavys.
Logi+heavy combos sounds like teamwork on paper, but requires very little teamwork in practice. The Heavy goes about what they are doing with equal or less restraint than they normally have while playing solo, while the Logi follows closely behind, dodging fire. Between that and randomly tossing out uplinks - which can be preformed by any class - I don't think that a simple WP based system would reward what we want it to.
TL:DR - "High-WP" =/= "Good Play" (Necessarily). Our model has to account for that. Personally, I'm leaning more towards Breakin's idea
