So i uncloak instantly but cant lift my gun for forever?
Shouldn't it be more like you press uncloak and switch to your weapon so you uncloak with weapons in hand which is different than the instant draw of releasing the cloak in 1. 8
This seems foolishly executed

It is. Give the regular decloak time, but have a firing delay. As in you can pull up your weapon but you CANT FIRE it until completely decloak.
It was foolish, yeah lets have it take ten minutes to pull up weapon instead of giving it an actual firing delay. Sure that makes so much sense.
But in there defense aren't there only six Devs actually working on the game?

And this is why i rarely play now, steady breakage.

You don't even need to cloak up to feel the delay. Just equip your cloak without turning it on and switch to a weapon. Why would their be a delay when the cloak is not even active? |

Yes.
And its not an instant decloak. It is like a 2 second decloak, in which some weapons like shotguns could instant fire, while others took forever.
So when you actually switched from cloak without it being active, the delay was the full 2 seconds or so.
