Nothing sucks more than climbing a ladder and half way up you start to get blasted by the enemy and there is nothing you can do about it because we don't have the option to let go of the ladder.
I think if we are climbing a ladder and we start to get shot at we should be able to press a button that allows us to jump off the ladder to try to get to safety. |

Are you sure this is implemented already? Not only have I never been able to bail off of the ladder but anytime I shoot someone on a ladder they do not ever bail off of it; they simply continue climbing and I end up killing them. |

That's because those people were too stupid to jump off the latter. Either that or they know it's pointless to do so because then the fall will kill them because they are already heavily damaged. If the fall doesn't kill them, you will as you finish them off when they land on the ground.

I would just jump anyway so they don't get the satisfaction of the kill. Suicide is the way to go. |

I just hopped on a ladder and jumped off; it felt nice. I don't have to worry about the fall though because my guy can handle it. I can jump out of the MCC and never deploy that shock-dampener-thing and run off into battle just fine. |

This game is already unfriendly enough to new players without everyone jumping all over a newbro just because they haven't figured some things out yet. Hell, I thought it was cool when I figured out that I could jump onto ladders like a boss.
Just a heads up to you OP, the Rookie Training Grounds section of the forums is a great place to get some ins and outs without having to worry too much about people giving you crap for being new.
