Detecting ISK Scams are simple. See through the scam with these amazing tips!
Tip 1.)
Learn the obvious scam.
If it involves you sending them ISK for ANYTHING with the notion of getting more back, assume its a scam. I can't believe I have to write this down.
Tip 2.)
Check corp names.
If it's a big name corp, it can actually be pretty safe to assume that they will pay you for services (Like lets say that they want you to run Logi for them, and will pay for your losses). Most have the ISK to burn, and the prices are pretty cheap (Anything less than 10 Mil is pocket change).
That being said, there are exceptions. You will get trolled eventually. The safest way to play this is to ask for the ISK in advance, per match. They give you 1 Mil or so, and you fit the suits and run it for them. If they are pleased, they will keep paying. If they don't, just run whatever you want. Win-Win!
Tip 3.)
The Long Scam
Faction Warfare Army was a scam, and if you don't know it, YOU'RE AN IDIOT. More than one person has made a corp solely for the purpose of taxing the players. They invite everyone, do a scam PC to make it seem like they are getting places, and then ask for more donations and raise the tax to fund more PC.
FWA did this. Duna Corp did this. EIM was accused of this, but I personally know the CEO, and he actually managed to turn out some great players and results with his corp. EIM is actually NOT a farming corp believe it or not.
Anyways, just be careful of those corps and corps like it. Chances are: If the tax is over 15%, you're being played.

Just suspect everything is a scam and before you send someone your entire wallet think about how mad you would be if you get scammed. If you think you will be super upset maybe you should do a bit more background checking on the person you are sending your entire wallet to.

Just never give any isk to anyone ever. It makes way easier to not lose isk...

Well, heck, now you got me wanting, nay, needing more tips... By any chance would you offer an installment or lay-away plan such as one might find at Walmart? Xmas is coming right up and this would be a nice gift to myself...
