I agree it does not make any sense at all. I know there was a discussion at the last Eve Fanfest where it was mentioned that there would be a client to launch Legion, Valkyrie, and Eve from. This was communicated to me when I suggested the client on the Eve forums during that time. There is no video for it that I know of. To me it sounded like Glyph or Battle net where you can launch multiple games.

When I transfer my character and skills over to Legion, what will happen to my DUST toon? But since you can have multiple characters on the one account you can easily have a Dust only character and an EVE only character if you want I suppose.

Considering Capsuleers are totally vulnerable outside of the pod and totally paranoid all the time I could see them making extensive use of Dust/Legion clones whenever they felt the need to leave the Eve captains quarters. I personally would love to play both on the same character .
