Dear Mercs,
since there seems to be a good amount of APEX Suits running in FW, I think we should talk about the loadouts.
I know that we can't make these fit everyones taste, but I think that here and there is room for improvement.
Please make posts with the suit/suits you have and elaborate your problems or what you like about them.
I have two suits so far, the Minmando and the Min Sentinel.

What I like about this suit, is pretty much everything. It has my two favourite light weapons, and is very fast and hard hitting. I don't like the armor recovery, that takes way to long for my taste, and for a run and gun suit, a armor repper instead of the Shield Regulator would have been the better choice. It is however bearable, but you have to stay out of the midst of the battle for a while when you run without logis (happens quite frequently...) But alltogether its a neat package.

This can work, if you win the first engagement, but after that, the Sent is a sitting Duck. What I do not get about this loadout, is the focus on shield modules on a suit that has more armor than shield. This makes no sense. The minnie should be a completely different setup:
Since right now, you can modify the suits (bug) I put on the following:
Republic Heavy Machine Gun 'Splashbone' Flaylock Pistol 'Carnifax' Locus Grenade Basic Shield Energizer (shields are low anyway, so its more important to get them back up quickly) Basic Heavy Damage Modifier (Min Sent needs high alpha to survive engagement) Basic Shield Extender (would prefer another Damage mod, but I think that would not be approved by Rattati) Basic Armor Repairer (without a repper, the armor takes way to long to recover and there is not enough of it anyway) Basic Kinetic Catalyzer (If a Minmatar is not fast, he is dead!)
With this setup, the chances to do short engagements and run to cover are more likely to work. And it only needs roughly half the time to recover the pathetic amount of armor.
This would be much more the Hit hard and run fast attitude of the minmatar!
What we have right now, is hit as everybody else, but with less HP and pathetic recoverability. This just doesn't work. And a Min Logi would be better of to repair that Amarrian fatty...
What are your opinions about those suits, please specify for the ones you already played with and why you like them or not.
