Since they should all be out by the time I come back (Late grinding!) which one should I get? I should I stick with my Calscout w/ Kaalakiota RR?

I'd stick with the Cal Scout, although I'd probably put an ARR or BrAR on it, personally. But if you really, really want one....
I'm still not a fan of the APEX suits for more advanced players (like I would assume you are) -- I think the BPO suits (like the Dren or the Covenant or the Quafe) are much more powerful for advanced players because you can vary their fits. |

Having the same problem deciding. If you're not familiar with the way the suits are fit and or don't care, I'd just say get whichever one looks coolest. The Gallente Spartan assault looks pretty awesome, though the logi suits and all that gold... Mmm... you'll be the envy of every Amarr in one of them.

The current Calmando setup is trash for anyone who's not a redline sniper.
Caldari Assault for looks, not utility. Caldari Logistics would've worked better with a Compact Hive or another hive variant instead of an injector.
Caldari Sentinel for dedicated AV'ers.
Calscout is decent in utility as long as you're not seen.
Give the Magsex some love.

I have the Rasetsu, it's a nice suit actually. It comes with grenades that do 450 damage and nanohives so I can spam more of them :)
If you're not wearing proto, you're doing it wrong.

Your LP is better spent on proto or adv suits without modification restrictions. Think about how long 600+ suits fit exactly to your liking will last you, versus a permanently gimped fit that will never allow experimentation or changes in preference. I understand people with disposable income springing for the Apex suits just for novelty, but LP is hard earned and in my opinion much better spent on gear that is customizable. I have had the Dren BPO's for a long time and love them.

get the Kunpo logi.. seems like they can fit proto kal RR on it for some reason

only decent use for apex suits is spambush for MOAR ISK!

i have the rasetsu as well and i have to say it is pretty good for what it is, i have had some good matches with it going 20/5 15/4 etc.
if you shoot me from the redline i will ensure your death will be a swift one
