Why not share this proposal with the community rather then just your friends?

It's fundamentally impossible for Zatara not to have advance notice over other PC players on PC changes of any sort because :NDA:. The CPM's proposal is not, anyways, necessarily "the future", just our suggestions for one. There's good reasons we decided not to publicize it. But it's not "this change" as it is not a development on behalf of CCP.

I do not feel that foreknowledge of any upcoming changes in this regard, should they occur, will allow Zatara an advantage over other players, as I am ruthless at insisting any such plans be designed in such a way that Zatara's donut maintaining dominance be much much harder. And any such new changes be relatively difficult to exploit for easy profit with low effort.

Furthermore, should any such changes come down the pipeline on CCP's end, we'd encourage CCP to get the details in public as soon as humanly possible so that everyone can figure out how to break the changes so those holes can be fixed and everyone can plan well ahead of actual implementation.

Zatara's suggestion is not covered by the NDA until someone at CCP actually says "Yes".

CPM members have hundreds of ideas that they share with their friends or on the forums which never get into the game.

I am saying that once Rattati says "Yes" that Zatara is no longer allowed to talk to his Corp about it. To extend that statement, it means he is not allowed to tell his Corp about tweaks that are made to the suggestion after Rattati says "Yes" to the idea. So by the time the rest of the CPM and CCP are done with it, what actually gets into the game might look very different than the idea that Zatara talked to his Corp members about.

Things Zatara is talking about may or may not head to the game, depending what suggestions or proposals CCP likes and finds feasible and worthwhile to implement, or what ideas they may have and prefer of their own.

It is important for CPM to gather feedback from members of the community, and I think that is what Zatara is doing or should be doing, having not been personally present at any such conversation. It is reasonable to think one would get feedback on how to fix PC from PC players. As a whole, I don't think "the CPM proposal" should be shared, but I would not be surprised if elements were discussed with players in the line of collecting feedback.

I also think the community needs more than a week of notice on any sort of change to PC, because feedback, and time to implement that feedback, should be considered a requirement.

No CPM abuse.
