meh maybe and maybe not, might've been mentioned about it taking up bandwidth or some technical stuff but lag is nothing new to this game. But ya I guess I can see theoretically how that can take up bandwidth, now if someone can prove it.... (clicks on the link to the bandwidth discussion)

well this is a problem, but i want to see how the new solo and team orbitals both EMP and normal effect this kind of equipment spam..
if it helps to cut down the spam we will not need to introduce bandwidth which i believe will only slow down the game's action(not Frames per second) even more then when OBs were changed from 2500 to 5000

For test purpose .. if only CCP replace nanohive 'sphere' effect to flat circle for one week .. you will get answer what you need.
- better bandwith or better hardware + engine opimalization....

That doesn't produce lag, and the entire function of the Caldari Logistics class is to lay out 6 or 7 nanohives and then immediately go back to playing as an Assault. Amarr logi is similar, except they are expected to spread the links. Gallente logi is expected to bring 2 or 3 scanners and maybe an injector (and people complain about getting scanned). These are the narrow roles defined for the utility logi. The one real logi gets a bonus that really matters, the rep tool range and rep amount... All logi suits should get a bonus to the rep tool. When that happens I'll put a rep gun back on my Caldari logi, but until then, you get a triage station if I'm feeling generous.

Lol even that's nothing. We've tried to break the game for s#it's and giggles one night and had a squad of six logis spamming every piece of equipment possible. Maybe lagged a little, but not what you would expect. The only place it seems to lag out is in the meat grinder map on a skirmish like in that video |

When I span it's not even about the war points, but a distraction. It's gunna take the enemy team a good 30 seconds to clear out all the links and hives, and while distracted is easier to push back in. |

That's like 3% of the reason why you spam equipment.
Honestly if you skilled into nanotechnology use that sh*t. Idk how many times randomly placed triage hives saves my CALA$$.
SPAMING equipment next to a supply depot is a lazy logi.

Plus having a lot of hives/links makes it really hard for the enemy to see you in the radar/passive scan. |
