Has any one else scanned a objective see a remote flux said remote begin to hack just to get blown up by a remote that wasn't even there ? OR when you get shot down in a drop ship and you jump out it placed you in front of the drop ship so it slams into you or fall on you killing you? happens to me all the time. ![Cry](https://forums.dust514.com/Images/Emoticons/ccp_cry.png)

As a Connoisseur of remote explosives, I can explain this to you.
This happens because you don't understand how your flux grenade works. We remote explosive guys, we know where to put the RE's so that the flux doesn't touch them. There are TONS of spots where the flux won't even touch it because we've put them JUST out of reach of the flux grenade.
I know this is hard to wrap your head around and the QQ'ers will cry and say its a glitch...but alas, it is not. Has anyone even really read the specs of the flux grenade or paid attention to what happens when you throw it? It basically gives itself away every time it goes off and after being flux'd hundreds of times by scouts and heavies....I've learned a thing or two about it.
Get on the battlefield and get next to a supply depot and throw the flux. Watch it when it goes off....see if you can spot what I'm talking about. Its quite simple. |

I'm pretty sure RE's slipping into the floor counts as a glitch. ![Roll](https://forums.dust514.com/Images/Emoticons/ccp_roll.png)
And yea, this has happened to me before, Pocket. RE's slip through the ground and can't be fluxed, yet they can still detonate and kill you. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. If you don't see that +5 though, don't try hacking, or try a second flux, see if you can get it.

Honestly I've never seen the RE's slip into the floor....I agree, that would be a glitch. But that's not what I'm talking about. |

Sometimes its because of a glitch that prevents the flux from taking out the RE, yet somehow it doesn't prevent the RE from killing someone ![What?](https://forums.dust514.com/Images/Emoticons/ccp_question.png)
Other times, its because I LOL as I lay another remote while you are hacking and blow you up.

The RE part I can't explain but maybe they ran up behind you and threw a RE. I do that every once in a while.
The DS part, yeah that's called gravity :) I only survive a jump out of the DS if I'm up pretty high in the air otherwise it usually coes down on my head.

I agree with Michael (for once) on this one. If you hide your explosives behind a control panel or behind a crate or other object, your explosives will most likely be protected from a grenade, or other splash weapon. It's all about placement. If you do it right, we'll be seeing some more "Aaaaahhh nerf the remotes esplosivez" posts.

We glitch RE's into the floor and objects so they can't be detected.
And yes, phasing RE's through the floor and through the null cannon panel is a glitch.

And wave them side to side.

There's only one problem with that. The EMP blast flux grenades put off goes through objects. They're not like regular grenades or explosives. You can get stuff on ceilings and behind walls with flux grenades quite easily if you time your throws.
Watch this if you don't believe me.
Thus why it confuses people when they flux a hack point, only to get blown up by an RE.
