Something that really grinds my nerves....

Snipers get up there, drop a few nanohives and a drop uplink and then their buddies come in on the uplink and drop more uplinks and more nanohives and then they all camp with forge guns and sniper rifles and anyone who tries to hack the objective gets a bullet in the head. Now, there are many vantage points in which you can sit and snipe at them when they are on the edges, but all they have to do is back up and let the nanohives repair them. Every single time I am on this map in domination mode, this happens. It never fails. What gives? This (to me) feels like cheating because its not something I would ever do. EVER. Its poor sportsmanship and our player community acting like spoiled little babies

It's gotten better with the nerf to sniper range but most domination games I play feel like more of a fight over the rooftop above the objective than anything else. If you're not wearing proto, you're doing it wrong.

Here's a solution (if you have a squad with mic) Use a dropship to get up there, but wait until you are at the right altitude before going around the tower and finally crush them (I advise you pilot it with a heavy w/ HMG due to the chance of missing a few and having to kill them yourself. Maybe if you only leave a heavy or two alive you can just flux and run. Also you can carry some blue up with you to help in killing them. AND I BACKED THE FUCK DOWN.

I wish it was where if there wasn't a ladder up there and the dev guys didn't want you up there, equipment would just slide off as well as you would just slide off. That would be more fair at least

If someone on their team has a moral standing against something like this, all he/she has to do is spawn into the area in question, flux the place, and then start hindering the shots of the snipers. But for pub matches, this won't work because friendly fire is disabled. I always wondered if it would be ok to have a semi-friendly fire enabled in pub matches where you still can't harm your team mate but you can destroy the equipment they deploy. But it's so easy to sit in a bunch of triage hives on a roof with long range rifles and just mow everything down from there - especially when you can get LoS on the point. The counters to rooftop camping - orbitals and ADS - have both been significantly nerfed as well. You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake. RATTATI WHERE IS MY DUEL

The only problem I have with that particular spot (and the same tower on that other map) is that people can glitch links into the side so an ADS can't kill their links. But anyway, roof tops are an ADS paradise. Even without an ADS though, you can still get to them by flying up there (even if they have AV, just come from a different or obstructed angle) and after that it's a matter of gun game. It's pretty easy because they don't move, if anything it's a bad strategy (unless the other team is completely incompetent)... That would be more fair at least This and Fracture Road dom absolutely suck because of this crap. It boils the game down to simple, lame tactics instead of keeping it active, dynamic and tactical. Why this stuff and yet they took the mountain out of Manus Peak? I'm better than laser focused; I'm hybrid focused.
