Video taken earlier today
How is it done? I'm honestly not quite sure yet. I have a theory that being able to drive your vehicle into the redline involves a.) layering two types of remote explosives onto your vehicle over one another, b.) getting yourself stuck to an object near the redline with the top layer of explosives, then c.). detaching both layers by placing down more REs from the type that composes the layer closest to the vehicle.
It worked this time. I will continue further testing.

Wow, sure enough, there it is. Tough set of variables to work with, tough one to replicate.
The roads are bad out there, but good call going to get a closer look at whatever the hell that thing in the "Toxic" mood is!

The terrain is only 5km by 5km then you drop off into nothingness. That's why I attempted to study things with the dropship...in order to have a Truman Show moment when I crash into an invisible wall.

I am surprised that the maps are even made to be 5 km by 5 km when the actual fighting area seems to be oh so much smaller, maybe 2.5 x 2.5 at the most. Very cool to see.

It's a shame we are stuck on our maps, when on so many of them you can see how close
together some other installations are in the redline zone..,

A note on this sticky glitch - it can be used very successfully for AV purposes.
Get your stack of REs, brush up against a tank, then run away and detonate.
It's a jihad jeep without the suicide.

Interesting. I've always had more help enlisting a friend over comms to detonate their REs when I pass by a group or vehicle.

I also tried to connect vehicles together with equipment, but I don't think I've attempted to phase one vehicle into another. When I have time tonight I'll give it a try and report back.
Note on what I mean by phasing.
When you stick a vehicle to a wall with REs with vehicle intertia applied and then proceed to lay down more REs of that type, the vehicle will teleport forward to wherever it should be to account for that original vehicle movement.
I'm curious what happens if I place a vehicle in the space where the stuck vehicle should be. Currently, I know if infantry enter that space (which I've confirmed is invisible to myself and other people) infantry players become bumped out of the way or even shot long distances into the sky.

Sounds like that could be used as an exploit to keep people out of an area.

I remember this. You can also make your lav gain massive air time with this glitch. If I recall correctly, you may even be able to touch the MCC and become a beautiful firework. |

The sticky glitch works with all vehicles. A particular point with dropship is to stick yourself to an object near the ground (besides naturally wanting to get back into the ship) because when you stick yourself above a certain hight and jump out, the vehicle will still stay but will immediately begin to register critical fall damage and quickly engulf in flames.

Not sure why they designed the outer-redline areas to be solid. I was waiting for you to fall through the floor sooner or later, lol. If it really is all solid land, then there's probably an invisibarrier... somewhere... out there...

Tried this for a couple hours tonight, without producing the results you did. Have you managed to do it again?
However, I have been having fun confusing squad mates with my teleporting lavs, and in trying to get your results, I caused the lav to go into some sort of stasis mode. It was stationary couldn't get in it. Touching the lav caused me to "blink" around to a point opposite the side I came from, as the lav thought it was moving and bumped me around. The faster I went, the farther I "blinked". Climbing on top of a roof, I jumped down on top of the lav and got shot a good fifteen feet into the air 
I did this until it blew up. So. Much. Fun.

TBH I haven't had much success in recreating this redline drive. It may also be that my internet connection wasn't as throughly f'd up as on the day I took this footage.
