I hate using the regular Scrambler Rifle because I have a bad habit of charging at the wrong times. I dropped the Assault Variant and cant use a gun without scope(Assault Rifle) so I need to go back to my good old Assault Scrambler if it is working better now

Anyhow, the AScR is better, but still not all that good. It's at least usable now though...
With Amassault 5, you can empty a magazine without it overheating. Which is cool. But without Amassault 5, I'd say it edges out as the worst Assault variant rifle.

The only way to make the ASCR decent is with lvl 5 amarr assault and three complex damage mods. The SCR is still way better than the ASCR.

I use it on my Minmatar Assault from time to time. Coupled with a six kin smg and a sidearm damage mod, it's a dirty combo.
And then I switch back to my basic CR and wonder why anyone uses anything else....

The Assault Scrambler is a hidden gem!
I've been using the advanced version a little bit recently and it must be pretty good as I can actually get kills with it using KB/M!
Im debating skilling into an Amarr Commando to run dual assault scrams.... hummm

even with just level 1 amarr assault you can fire all but 20 rounds before you overheat with the ASCR so id guess Level 3 would be a full clip
