I just played a match and my team was completely destroyed by an assault proto suit moving at the speed of light meleeing everyone. Is it possible to get that much damage from melee? And the speed of the suit was unreal, I would understand if it was a scout. He moved faster than I could pop my shotgun

Due to server or internet issues, Nova knives have been my go to weapon instead of Shotgun for close range

Minmatar assault has 4/4 slot layout.
back when it had 5/2 layout I could run 2 kincats and hit 9.6 I believe.
Now imagine that with 10-15% more sprintlyness.
Oh and Commandos melee at 240, Assaults at like 120, stack melee mods and it's sure to be possible(doesn't know numbers off of head)
In other words: We don't even have to sacrifice all our slots to run at the speed of light and 520 melee you, only 4/2 slots, saving 2 for literally anything else my heart desires.

It is possible bro I once got one shotted in a full proto Gk.0 heavy from a kaalakiota bolt pistol did 2500 dmg by GAM scrubs

Gallente scout has 4 lows too, has a faster base sprint speed and can only achieve 11.11 m/s with 4 kin cats. However, the minmatwr scout has 3 slots and an even higher base sprint speed, and can achieve 11.12 m/s with three.

was the Human Endurance Event from about 18months ago. you had to play 100matches in a week or month i think it was and through the event you picked up a few other items based on different suits and at end if you did the 10matches every day you got the HEP bottles. i still have all mine too cos i just don't use melee lol they are pretty awesome on a minny scout though. 3 complex myo's 3 hep in lows and you pack a real punch

Just don't forget that both punching and sprinting use up stamina... also don't forget that you have to be pretty much touching your opponents frame for the melee hit to register.
Personally I only put myos on my min commando CR/MD fit for when players stupidly get to close to me I just quickly sprint into them and bam!
It's more hilarious to me that the guy could run around punching people in an assault suit and the enemy team was just too bad to be able to deal with it. Backpedaling and twitch strafing pretty much ruins any attempts for someone to punch you, hell it works on knifers a lot too and they even have a lunge now. |
