Okay, well I'm using this as a little test since I've seen a lot of QQ about Shotguns. Works the same as my RR petition.
Less range, less damage per 2m.

Signed Are you joking? The Shotgun is not even over powered. It has a maximum range of 20 meters and an optimal of 10 or less but meters might as well be feet with how close you have to get for optimal performance. It has atrocious falloff for its high alpha. Literally every other weapon has better stats than it. Sidearms perform better outside the Shotguns optimal. Not to mention the wonky hit detection.

A few quick stats about the SG:
Pellet # is 12
Damage is 40/42/44 STD/ADV/PRO
Optimal is 5 meters
Maximum is 20 meters
50% damage at 10 meters
Hit detection, on average, causes only ~8 pellets to register (I have tested this)
This is only 320/336/352 damage per shot, ignoring modifiers.
This gun is in serious need of a hit detection buff. Its better since 1.9 (slightly), but still sucks.
"Minja" and "Masochist" are synonyms.

Opposite your proposal: increase range, decrease Damage per shot, maybe increase clip to 10 to offset potential Damage/Clip ratio change(still can drop a whole squad with 1 clip)
