It's a killer in the right hands and borders on beast mode if that person is in an Amarr Assault suit.
Perhaps you just don't like or haven't gotten used to its unique mechanics, but those that I know who use it regularly don't agree at all... and the k/s data last shared with us here argue, if anything, that is bumping up against OPness. |

So, is it the ScR or the CalScout?
My minassault even has a fitting where it uses a Breach SMG/Scrambler Rifle, just because the ScR is my *get out of jail free* card against Minmatar/Caldari HMG sentinels.
Mind you this is a CRW on a M/1, versus anything up to an Adv Sent+Boundless.

The SCR can charge-shot head-shot merc from 120m away, I have comfortably made kills at 90m+ with the thing, if anything it's more devastating than the rail rifle.
Plus you can go toe-to-toe with heavies, first charge shot drops his shields, another charge shot, then spam until he's dead, if you have the heat reduction bonus you can fire your gun as fast as you can fire the trigger.
if it's been nerfed into oblivion and forgotten then why does a shield based weapon destroy armour based heavies? Keep them at range and fire charge shots, most of the time heavies will run and hide because your first charge shot completely wipes out their shield.
The gun is an absolute monster. I use Viziam with 2 complex damage mods and prof 5 on my alt and people hide from that thing.

Do you even use other rifles? The ScR by far is the most versatile, extremely good for precision shots at a distance and for spamming someone to death in CQC. Breach AR may be better at CQC but dat range doesn't work so well on the breach without a scope and plenty of enemy cover. The only rifle in the same bracket as the ScR is the TAR, and that thing is inferior stat wise in every way. Hell an assault amarr can even spam shot more than the 18 shots a TAR has without overheating not too mention you can charge up then follow up for extremely fast dps.
If anything the ScR needs more kick or hip-fire dispersion to make it less spammable like they have been doing to the RR. |

Dude, Im level 5 in both Amarr Assault & Scrambler Rifle, & still can only shoot off 23 rounds before it overheats!? I still say that is bs.
