I'd like it to available for Linux also, only reason I have windows right now is cuz of the games I have only being playable on windows.
Should Legion be on the ps4?

Problem is the amount of games people can actually play from their steam library in The Steam OS.
Does Wine work for plenty of games?

Wine is a last resort, but it does work decently.
Part of the reason that the Eve Linux client was discontinued is that Eve ran better on stock Wine.
