^ I do this all the time with a LAV. Take it over to a supply depot and install 2 RE explosives on the seat of the passanger seat. Its where they are most protected from enemy shots. Beware of explosive weapons though like the Plasma cannon, mass driver, or flux grenades. They can set them off and it will kill you. However, if you get killed and a red hacks it, it works. Sometimes when you set it off all the seats are full, so it a wicked burn. Wont do anything to stop team mates from stealing it though.

Note to OP: Dont bother picking anyone up. No good deed goes unpunished. Sometimes waiting for someone will cause you to get hit by other called in vehicles or their RDVs. If you do take off they might fire the cannons nonstop, steal it when you get out, ect. the only time I take in passangers is when Im going to a spot I know I have to bail out on. The moment I step out, the dropship tumbles away. they can have it lol.

That is a good idea, but lets take it one more. Anyone can get it, and the driver can kick you out and once kicked out you are blocked from getting back in for that game. That way if an idiot starts firing randomly at oh say cannons as I am driving by, I can kick him out to deal with it.

True that! it took me 6 months of playing until I even found out about forums, but that is what corp mates are for and ccp can fix this!

Yea for a burner 40k DS this works, but I was using CRU to aid the team and pick up some spawn points and hopefully have them man the guns since my ADS is not so good yet. Anyway I stopped using the CRU because of these thefts.
