i cant be the first one to post about this. why not add a simple voice message stating when your dropship or tank has a swarm missle lock on it? and obviously for a missile launch too. i know this is not real life, but our military aircraft have this now and the "futuristic" airships do not? i cannot say for certain about our tanks now because the only info on then comes from when BF3 came out. |

This would do so much for vehicle in general. Currently, swarms are insanely easy to operate and are by far the most common AV weapon: for the simplest and most common weapon they have far, far too few drawbacks. Adding a lock-on warning would simply let the vehicle user know that they are about to receive damage...which might not actually be true.
Hell, a half decent Swarmer would be able to use this to make the vehicle user twitchy and even get them to back off/activate hardeners without even needing to fire a shot. Considering that swarms require extremely little skill to operate decently and not much to use effectively, I do not see why this should not be considered.

I love my swarmed, that being said why IS there no decoy option to throw off middle locks ? Seems it would go a long way, though granted it would almost definatly require you to Nerf the drop ship health...or boost the swarm damage because as it stands drop ships can get away and repair if I don't land all3 launches, so giving them a decoy would mean that they would almost certainly get away...at least it seems this way. Either way its worth looking into if only because it seems it would make the game more fun. Either way I agree with the lock warning because TERROR!!! |

I love this. I also thought, why not make a electronic damager that damages the signals needed for swarms to lock on to vehicles. So now there is a chance you can't lock on to a vehicle and you'll have to move to forge gun or try again with swarms. IT should be an active module. Std would give 25% chance you can't lock on, 30 adv, 45% at proto. Works like a scanner that jams all swarms at x distance. Swarms are to good now and this would be funner.
