I did a little testing last night and here's my results.
For battles I won where I earned more than 600-ish WP, I got 6 points towards my next loyalty rank.
Even earning close to 2000 WP still only earned me 6 points towards my next loyalty rank.
It didnt seem to matter whether I actually got kills, or just earned WP from drop uplinks hacking and other stuff.
Under that WP but sitll winning I got 5 points towards my next loyalty rank.
I have not gathered data on battles where I lost yet.
I have not gathered data on how many points you get for logging in yet.
For every 2 aurum I spent I earned 1 point towards my next loyalty rank.
Conclusions so far, spend 10-20 minutes in a battle, and winning, earns you the same loyalty rank points as spending 12 aurum, your time in game is that invaluable.
I do not have data on how many LP you need for each rank 1 to 15, but I have concluded that if the LP system had been in place day 1 of uprising 1.0 that none of us would probably be at the ranks we were assigned when this system was introducted, and instead we were just ranked comparatively agaist eachother and assigned ranks, rather than given the ranks for the LP we earned in the system that was designed.
I do know that it would take me almost 13,000 battles to get to the next loyalty rank if I won every single battle. Or I could spend 155200 Aurum. I'm only rank 8, this ishow much it would take to get to rank 9. Is rank 15 ever expected to be reached by anyone?
Isnt there a happy medium we could have for this? How long did your data project it would tank a person to get to rank 15? It would take over 200 days of 60 battles a day, each a win, for me to get to the next rank from the loyalty points per battle I've been getting. I don't even know how long it would take to get to rank 10, then 11, then 12, etc.

Most of us have concluded it's not a "Loyalty Rank" bar as much as it's a "Aurum Spent" bar.

Loyalty Rank seems to be pretty heavily weighted towards spending aurum.
Just my opinion, but, good! The players who are spending at least a few dollars on this game deserve something small like loyalty rank. Paying players are keeping content in development. They are ensuring Rattati and Logibro continue to create hotfixes. They prove to CCP that Dust is profitable, and thus, worth keeping online.
Before the "P2W!" crowd stops licking windows to reply... the rewards for loyalty ranks are the same currencies anyone can earn from playing the game: SP, LP, and ISK.
My advice to you, playa...

I can understand wanting to promote people buying aurum, the game needs to be paid for somehow. That doesnt negate the fact that loyalty rank points need some more adjustments. |

I do spend money. I'm sat at rank 8 I don't mind how many points you get for aur related stuff. BUT normal gameplay should be more of a factor.
