Will legion be a game where players can convert game money to real currency?
Will legion be a subscription game or still free to play like Dust514?
Will players have the option of exploration through the universe?
If players can explore would they need an eve account to explore or need an eve pilot to transport them?

To my knowledge none of this information has been released yet, as the actual status of Legion is still unknown.
If I had to speculate though, I'd wager that if Legion comes out that it would be subscription based. |

1) uh what? you want RMT in legion?!?! are you insane? or an isk farmer? They don;t allow it in eve, what makes you think they will in legion? Game money to real money.. wow your a bit nutty.
2) unknown. it should be, then you can have a discount if you sub to eve and legion. or it could be F2P, both models woudl work
3) From what is said yes and no. There will be 'sand box zones' that you cna drop in and out of on a whim, and them more organized play like plantary conquest.
4) unknown, but prolly not. At least not at first. |

1. I assume you mean "convert ISK to Aurum" rather than "Convert ISK to USD, Euro, GBP, etc." Maybe. We don't know but I don't think that is likely to happen. It happens in Guild Wars to control inflation but Guild Wars is also a paid product rather than being truly Free to Play. I don't see it happening.
2. Free to Play probably. My guess is that Legion will be CCP's TF2, using promotional stuff to get people to buy into EVE like "buy this game and get exclusive TF2 hats!" I doubt that CCP will want to get into the subscription bit ala Planetside 2. Having a game that is free with "convenience and cosmetic options" gets more people playing. "Hey, this game is alright. What's EVE?" If the "EVE Universe" idea goes off where it is the same Clone Name for Mercenary, Valkyrie, and Capsuleer like Battle.net tags, I could see people logging into Legion to play while putting together something in EVE since the game often has a lot of downtime to get a roam together and the like.
3. Who knows? DUST was supposed to have that. With Destiny being on the PS3, I think we can ignore the statements by CCP that "the PS3 couldn't handle what we wanted it to do!" I think it is more "we couldn't handle what we wanted to do." Maybe they can on PC, maybe they can't. Legion is supposed to be like Day Z or Borderlands where you get drops to fight other stuff.
4. Assuming we can explore, it would be obnoxious to have to play EVE in order to do simple things in Legion. Since they are too entirely different genres and games with ENTIRELY different speeds, I can't imagine that saying "if you want to play this faster paced game you will need to play a much slower game." Would be like making people who want to play Marvel vs. Capcom play chess by mail.
In truth, we don't know anything. CCP treats us like mushrooms; feed us crap and keep in the dark. But FanFest will probably have something. Maybe Rouge will walk out and pee into his face again?

1. If Eve Online is any indicator, the answer is no. Cash flow is one way.
2. Very likely free to play, but Legion hasn't even been green lit yet so don't quote me.
3. Possible, but again don't quote me.
4. Since Legion is not likely to have an Eve connection from the start, probably not.
