Until I get the amarr assualt bpo. Amarr fw is always so difficult. How far along are you assuming that you are also grinding for a loyalty store bpo? |

I'm at 8.5k LP... it is IMPOSSIBLE to win Amarr FW at times, I win maybe 10% of the matches, the Minmatar FW is full of protostompers.
225 LP for loss, 1125LP for win (somewhere around that)
That moment when you mow down a proto Caldari assault suit with a militia laser rifle.
Words can't describe it.

I am done went 64 matches in 4-5 days with a W/L record of 5/59 lost 6 million isk and decided I didn't want a bpo suit that badly after I did the math. It was something like 60 days at 5 matches a day.

If you are finding Amarr FW difficult I suggest you add both of the following two channels to your overview with the intent to squad up with our Militia groups. They are skilled at what they do and organised enough to ensure that victories are achieved.
- PIE Ground Control - AMARR 1
PIE Ground Control I find to be the more focused of the two channels and is usually only used for squad communications during Sync's and or other PCLAS or Militia wide operations. It is also monitored by our EVE Pilots from PIE Inc and of course ILAW and other Amarr Militia capsuleers. It is also the place to be if you are interested in RP and or developing your understanding of the lore and back ground content.
AMARR 1 currently seems to be a more active channel that runs Syncs throughout the week on American TZ's and is managed by Imperial Loyalist Duboi Dustite and Deezy both of whom have done a stellar job of putting together and maintaining what is essentially a militia channel for the Amarr, moreover there is very active EVE support within the channel.

I've added both of those channels, and in the 6-7 hours I played just now, though there was quite a lot of people (especially in Pie), no one was running FWs.
Is there any specific time of the week when they do run FWs? Or is it just sporadic |

96k Caldari and waiting for a useful Cal fit to come out, tired of CCP's Gallente FTW attitude or at least from them buffing Gal tech and nerfing Cal tech... anyway, anyone have anything on the Caldari Assault?

So you say....yesterday I lost about 4-5 games in a row to SALUKI [Spelling?] Nyain San and others all in double squads.
I think the game just toys with us all.

I'm not going for any APEX suits, but I don't think I've lost an Amarr FW once in the past 3 days. Since we've been rotating factions, I've built up about 12K LP worth of Imperial Viziam Uplinks. Across all factions, I've probably earned about 40K LP over a total of about 8-10 hours of FW.
If you want to make LP, you need to find a group to sync with. Having good players doesn't hurt, but communication can go a long way toward increasing your win percentage and costing you less ISK. Also, if you don't have a mic, get one. Unless you're some kind of omnipresent demigod (and I highly doubt you're having any LP trouble if you are), you're a liability of you can't give your team intel. Even if you're running scans, it's a huge advantage if you can tell me who and what those blinking circles are. Ignoring the one pub that I lost while waiting for the group, I would have a W/L ratio of over 20:1 due to FW. My K/D is only about 2.6, but I've been running Quafe suits to save on ISK, rather than spending more ISK on ADV/PRO fits.
TL;DR - Find a channel, join a corp, or get a squad. You'll win more games, win them faster, and probably enjoy yourself a lot more in the process. |
