With all the recent changes to RR, CR, breach AR, not to mention snipers...
We seem to be trapped in a bit of a mass migration cycle. One weapon is nerfed, then suddenly everyone switches to the 'next best thing'.
It happened with the shotty/cr kind of, then the rr, then the breach ar. Who knows, the burst ar could be next seeing as it is a solid weapon that is severely under used and will likely receive a buff because of that.
Maybe it's best to focus elsewhere and let us mercs bicker with each other like we always have and will, rather than try to balance around said bickering.
This might not be true in all, or even any cases, but my uninformed/arbitrary/meaningless opinion is that to reach an understanding of the opinion of the player base, an in game notification or poll is necessary in addition to the forum threads. This is because those that browse the forum or post here may not be representative of the casual players that seem to make up a majority of the player base. |

Well I an not sure what the devs plan for dust is, but once a near balance is achieved the game will no longer be a sandbox game, It will be the top of the line competitive shooter. I have not enjoyed a competitive fps this much in since the original halo at the time it was ahead of its time just as dust is now. I left DAR after 2 months once we were certain that it is going nowhere. It's a tax farm,and essentially a dead corp at the moment. |
