Well, here comes your not so favorite R&B obsessed ADS pilot with another guide to flying. I'll have to confess I haven't been able to get on for the past few days (more than likely for a good while), but dust couldn't have changed that much for these fits to not help immensely in the situations you'll be in.
WARNING: Ideally, these fits are used when you have to face a certain type of AV, or being positioned in a certain environment. You won't usually have the luxury to swap out, so you may have to adapt or avoid the situation altogether.
TIP: If you ever have to square off against AV, try as much as you can to hide your fit until the right moment. Just treat it like when you were in high school and your favorite teacher wore that awesome outfit the day you wore sweatpants. HIDE IT!!
Again, I'd use protofits, but it's still being a swarthy bar skank to me.
Anyway, on to the fits I shall show you, and what they're best for. We'll be going over python first, just because.
Fit #1: HMS Betty White
This craft was designed to take a real pounding, just all out hard smacking.
Fit is as follows:
1 complex PG upgrade
1 XT missile
1 enhanced heavy extender
1 complex shield hardener
1 complex shield booster
This fit, because of lack of mobility, is mainly used for city maps, with plenty of cover. It's also best for taking on multiple swarms.
Warning: It is not advisable to use this fit on an outside map unless you have no other choice. You are more open to large rail fire this way.
Python fit #2: Laira
My original design when Delta dropped, this fit has served me well against forgers, and is still my favorite. It's good for all purpose combat, doesn't excel at anything in particular.
1 enhanced PG upgrade
1 enhanced shield extender
1 complex AB
1 complex light shield booster
1 XT missile
I usually run this fit in the open ground areas, or when I'm fighting forges. It's still good against a single swarmer, but in this day and age, 60% of infantry AV is swarms (I wish I was exaggerating), so she's kind of useless in this respect. She's still a sturdy craft, and I'd still fly her.
Python fit #3: Wood-mobile
1 enhanced PG upgrade
1 enhanced shield extender
1 complex AB
1 complex shield hardener
1 XT missile
This fit is basically the above fit, but with a hardener. Good for fighting swarms, and when large rails are an issue. it could work against forges, but I'm not really a big fan.
Now on to our incubus fits
Incubus fit #1: The Drunken Russian
1 complex AB
1 complex armor hardener
2 complex light armor repair
1 20GJ particle cannon
This fit I mainly use to intercept DS on opening deployments. I won't lie, I usually die in this fit. But it gets you to their redline faster than anything in this game.
Incubus fit #2: Anaxes
One of my original fits, and was usually my go to fit when engaging other incubus, it serves it purpose in AA fights. Decent at taking a pounding too.

1 complex 120 MM plate
1 complex light repair
1 complex PG upgrade
1 20GJ particle cannon
Incubus fit #3: Patrick the starfish
This fit is named after that ******** starfish in Spongebob for one reason. Starfish can regenerate, and this fit can do that in spades.
1 complex AB
1 complex 60 MM plate
2 complex light armor repair
1 20GJ particle cannon
I confess I haven't played with this fit too often, but I believe one of the repairs can be replaced with a basic heavy repair. Not sure TBH.
Incubus fit #4: Toyota Camry
This fit is named for a decent hybrid, it has a nice armor, repair, and hardener. What I'd use for a jack of all trades style fighter.
1 complex AB
1 complex 60 MM plate
1 complex light armor repair
1 complex armor hardener
1 20GJ particle cannon
Well, this should help you get a decent foothold in the art of ADS. Now for one last sexy beat, just because I can!!

Haven't gotten a real chance to try it as I was booted to quarters early in the match but I put together a Incubus with 2 x complex hardeners and a complex light repper. Had to drop to ADV missiles and a basic AB so there's that. 1 hardener was able to give me a fighting chance with a complex light plate but not sure how losing that HP is going to work out. But if I can get more then 5 seconds to fight back it might be worth it.
Your game f'ing sucks, but I'll still play it, damn you! Turns out I wont.

That fit doesnt give you any more survivability than any single hardener python fit, and you'll have a long, very vulnerable downtime for your trouble.
Do yourself a favor and only fly Pythons

It survived maybe 4 volleys, but it was hard to tell with the rendering and all. My pilot has both maxed but I've always preferred the Incubus so I am still in denial trying to find a fit that works. Though I'll probably cave soon enough seeing as missiles are the only way to fight back particularity as I mainly just try to keep the roofs clear, so I am giving up my super SP expensive bonus with a missile Incubus.
