Now all it is is rage inducing to both sides of the equation--people getting shot out of the cloak, and the scout that has to wait for the match to finish before he can do anything.
Also, its glitched. Weapon swap is canceled if you touch any button while swapping.
Please undo this "fix". Or, just remove this piece of **** from the game and give me my SP so i can get a good suit thats viable (Assault).

I don't use a cloak and only tried it a couple of times before 1.9. Right now it's broken. I've been blasted by a guy while still cloaked and have also heard of the issue where people aren't able to uncloak or it "jams" up on them and they can't fire for a longer period of time. (I think I heard 5 or 6 seconds)
They just need to make it instant decloak, 2 or 3 second delay, and forget the "gradual depreciation of cloaky-ness". That would solve a majority of the problems we are having with it and should be a good compromise for people on both sides of the issue.

Cloak is fine Gav.
Just damp your fits, run less speed and de-cloak from a good 10-15m out.
Or if you really can't adjust to it, run Shotgun Assault. You still want that SP for the hack suit, so don't even bother speccing out of it.

At the very least, they should rework dampening mods and remove the profile dampening from the cloak so Amarr, Caldari, and Minmatar don't need the cloaks to be unscannable.

I like that you can't decloak right next to someone and expect to shoot them in the face. You have to actually plan when to decloak and make sure you do it will enough in advance, which probably means you're a good distance away. Cloaking is used for navigation, not cheap shot slaying.

I like that as well.
I dislike that I am forced to use it to avoid having an Amarr's passive scans shared with his massively tanked heavy squad mate, while being even more blind than that same heavy.
At least give me the option of not needing the cloak. The current mechanics force everyone but Gallente to have one equipped.

Respecs are now a thing. Take a look into that instead of complaining. That's what they are there for.

I don't notice much of a difference, I usually uncloaked from pretty far away so there is ample time to draw my remote explosives (guns suck).
