Was thinking it'd be cool to have some sort of DOT Melee Weapon. Perhaps we could call it an Ebola Injector Nanite Destabilizer. Maybe does 50/100/150 Damage to armor? each Second for five seconds?

I have seen a similar post and it got shot down by a DEV

F*k this cash grab fix the shit that matters: unkillable uplinks, invisible remotes on null cannon hack panels, etc.

Well the only way to counter the OP nature of it, have the DOT be a debuff which is unstackable. So if you got hit with the injector twice, it won't do double damage.

Well you could always have a shotgun sword.
It's weird how Isaac Chan has a Dust vibe going through his work even though he doesn't work for CCP. I thought this was William Chen's son at first, then I saw the 'a'.

I would vote against the pivoting. Aiming shouldn't be messed with. But 50% of heavy speed isn't saying much. Using that against scouts though. That'd be lols...
Using this needle against a heavy would be like an interceptor in EVE webbing a titan.
