Yes. Clones are in fairly common usage amongst the rich, even if they're not combatants.
You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.

Yup even the clones the original Templars had fromTemplar One were custom.
Likely you can find leisure clones and appear how you wish.
Hell I'm sure there are males who use female clones for kicks.

Is there anywhere online that says there is such a thing as non-combat clones? |

I'm going to assume that any clone with the relevant technology can house our consciousnesses in the same way a capsuleer might.

Changing sex through clones doesn't work. The mind cannot deal with the different body chemistry/physical makeup. It's why we have female combat clones. Technically its a waste of biomatter to create things like female breasts instead of extra musculature or stronger skeletons, but females couldn't handle not having their sex characteristics.

Is that confirmed? I was aware Cala spent time in a male clone despite being born biologically female but was not under the impression that this was of huge concern to cloned mercenaries. I am aware that there could be some cognitive dissonance borne of being mentally male or female in the opposing sexes body....... but I do not think that would much affect combat clones whose life spans are measured in hours or prevent the use of short term leisure clones of the opposite sex.
