the idea is somewhat simple.. like CCP did with the APEX suits but unfitted and Standard suit only..
basically add the Sever, raven, Valor and some amarr colored suit BPO set to the Faction war LP store at stupid LP cost.. 50k to 100k just for the standard Assault, Logi, scout and Sentinel suits (cost is per single suit, not the whole set) so we get cool looking suits but we still have to fit them our selves.

cal-(grey/black/blue)
would obviously use Raven colors
min-(rust/brown/more rust of a different hue)
the Sever coloration
gal-(green and greyish with hints of blue?)
would have Valor
amarr-(gold gold and more gold.. with hints of yellow)
other then templar i dont think i have seen any other BPOs with amarr color schemes for amarr suits.
obviously you could buy them for AUR for 0 effort/work or you could work hard to get them in Factionwar and also be contributing to keeping FW alive.
so what say the community?

See Kagehoshi or Sgt Kirks posts on the subject as in both their posts they are using lore and racially appropriate colour scheme rather than stylistically appropriate.

have the past BPO suits been lore friendly? APEX hasnt.. quafe didnt seem to be like the quafe colors i knew in eve.. and for the huge sum of lp spent it should look a little different..
Raven still looks very caldari
valor looks very gallente
sever looks very minmatar..
im just stuck as what suit colors may be best fro amarr..
and they are only standard level suits im suggesting as we know adv/proto suits are better off being baught for LP as the cost is tiny compaired to normal market cost..

They haven't really.
APEX series is a GOD NO.
"Templar" series yes.
MAG series is a no.
"Dren" is a yes if they are intended to be Gurista's dropsuits.

If I'm buying a dropsuit from a faction I would expect them to well, you know, actually represent the faction I'm receiving them from. That's like buying a T-Shirt from Microsoft and it having a Pepsi logo on it.
Though as True said, yes some of them have been "lore friendly".

raven just looks like the colors that are on the raven navy issue battleship in eve.
sever looks like republic issue hurricane if you have direct light on the hull.. in eve.
valor looks like navy mega colors in eve basically.. so yes they are "lore friendly"

we need less bpo in dust because eve is where our bpos should be comeing from. i believe that any bpo above malita level ruins the game a little more these apex suits are the worst. if you dont need to worry abought buying another coppy of your suit than why be tactical, why not just zerg the enemy loseing waves of your proto bpo to break any position, why not run miles into the redline to shoot the poor ******* that is redline snipeing because it is impossible to break out of the redline.

managed to cover the first 3 but amarr is a ***** to try pin down.. maybe basic FW suit but extra gold trimming?

im just talking standard suits , i believe adv/proto should be the kind where they are limited number like pay x and recieve x suits/fits.
my idea is just for standard suits like assault/logi/sent/commando/scout because more people running standard the easier the time it will be for newbros, but also accrues cost via the fittings which may be any level from MLT to pro.. tho mostly i think only some bits of adv can fit on standard suit even with cores maxed for pg and cpu . also id like to push this because in FW i dont think anyone really uses standard FW suits at all but it also incentivizes people to play FW more and FW is a good isk sink for the isk faucets which are public contracts and PC (if not attacked which is often because of district locking)
so basically.. it gives people a vanity suit which would be 3000 isk per suit or like 35LP and 450 isk at standard level..
high LP cost so they gotta work for it and lost alot of isk in the process..
let me put it another way.. i would intend the unfitted BPO STANDARD suits to be 5m isk and 50k lp or something..
that 5m could buy 1666.6 standard suits alone and the player may lose more then 5m isk in the time it takes to grind to 50k lp (or more) so effectivly a player may spend and lose 5m isk+5m isk and spend all the LP they gained to get something which has no advantage at all other then to look different while still looking quite "racial" to the faction to show their loyalty and dedication to the cause.
TL;DR
isk loss while farming for the suit
isk and LP cost for the suit
incentivises players to play more fw
APEX = for newbros, the suits are bad for vets
standard suit BPOs only.. to let players fit how they want
promotes more fw matches
promotes less FOTM based on LP store items

id rather keep to colors based/looking like the EVE faction varients gained through factionwar
