I know we were told of the idea of this suit and if it is still on the table, would like to add what I think it should be like. Now te only thing I very heard about then was that they increased certain stats for vehicles. Now if these suits are still in the works I'd like to say what I think the race should determine bonuses and what would be fitting options for the suit.
Now for racial bonuses we'd have to look at what each race specializes in. Gallente focus on armor tanking and repair, Amarr focus on tanking, Caldari focus on mobility and shield tanking and regen, and Minmatar focus on hybrid EHP, mobility and speed.
Minmatar: Their pilot suit operation skill would give say a 5% bonus to increased max speed per level and 3% bonus to duration or reduction in recharge time of fuel injectors/afterburners per level.
Amarr: Their pilot suit operation skill would give 3% bonus to max base ohp or efficiency bonus to armor plating and shield hp modules.
Gallente: Their pilot suit operation skill would give a 5% bonus to armor plating modules or max base armor hp per level and a 3% bonus to armor repair amount or speed per level.
Caldari: Their pilot suit operation skill would give a 5% max base shield or shield hp module per level and a 3% bonus to shield booster amount per level.
Of course percentages and what these racial suits would give bonuses to can be different and others ideas are welcomed.
Now for what could be fitted on a pilot suit would be quite simple in terms of weapons and equipment. There could only be one weapon and it would be a sidearm since these suits are meant to be used to pilot vehicles, not fight infantry. They would have 1 equipment slot for either a cloak for a safe ejection from a vehicle and easy escape. Or try could fit a uplink for helping deply their team or a repair tool for emergency repairs.
This is just my thoughts on what pilot suits would be like if they are to be implemented. Anyone else's ideas are welcome especially in terms of actual statistics.
