Both would have a profile of 24 with max skills and three basic damps makes the apex around 14.
Do you feel they should at least be able to fit bpo mods so we can at least change fits on the apex so sniping is viable?
Imo bpo basic is 10 K to make a fit thats twice as strong and more likely to live longer so at worst there will be little to no difference in hp if bpo mtl and basic bpos can be used on the apex suits, this at least makes CCP more money for very little change to what where dealing with already.
I own every low and high mod and in a game built on customization i fully feel this should be possible

no, it was a bug that you could change equipment on the APEX suits anyway, theya re designed to help newbies who dont have good core skills and a proto bpo suit with interchangable mods is just too OP and pay2win.

Hello, and nice post!
IGÇÖm not sure the Apex suits should be compared or stood against any regular BPO or fittable suits. 
The expressed idea of the GÇ£ApexGÇ¥ was to offer an item for pay that does the thinking and head-scratching for you (something Newberrys to a shooter like Dust really find comforting in their time of confusion).
And CCPGÇÖs right... a prefitted suit is a great thing, when you just want to get a task done cheaply (like participation in player-events).
If you make the Apex item fittable or changeable, then the purpose of having an Apex-item is kind of ruined.
Dragonfly or similar BPOs are for players who feel confident to try fitting things.... the Apex is (primarily) for players who arenGÇÖt confident they can make fit choices yet.
I suspect theyGÇÖll be Apex-style VEHICLES offered in the future too, if these Apex suits succeed.
I think they also should be permanently fitted with turrets, etc that cannot be customized.

One step closer to allowing a gateway for new players ... The APEX is a great idea just implemented in the reverse direction. At least we get to beta test it before the idea gets implemented correctly.
Over 60+ Million SP and full proto in all Caldari Suits. No matter how hard CCP tries Dust just won't die on PS3/Xbox.
