So with the release of Apex suits, standard and adv suits are completely useless. Am i wrong?

Yes, as the APEX suits (once the bug is fixed) are proto suits with permanent non-modifiable/removable standard modules.
I have a Dragonfly assault that outperforms the ApexCalAss, for example.

Once the bug is fixed, a decently fitted Basic Suit would tear them up.
With the bug right now though? Yeah, everything else is absolete.
