 There's always a but, isn't there?

In all seriousness, I do love the idea of these BPOs that you can buy without real cash, but the idea that you are marketing them more towards new players is unfeasible, I believe.

The first reason is because the front page of the market boldly displays the AUR versions of these suits, not the LP+ISK versions. Let's be honest, the market UI is not great, and new players aren't going to be searching through every page and looking at every individual item in the market, just on the off chance that they might bump into some non-consumable, no skill requirement, PRO dropsuit. The non-AUR versions of these BPOs are just too well hidden to think new players will take interest in them.

The second, and most important, reason is the LP cost. OK, 10million ISK is a considerable sum to new players, but I think it is more than reasonable for a non-consumable PRO suit, but the LP cost chafes at me. I'm not saying that 100k LP is way way too much for the majority of players around here, but you were marketing these suits for new players, and new players should NOT be encouraged to go directly into FW after leaving the academy in order to start grinding LPs for one of these toys.
FW has become a veteran paradise, with que-sync'd squads using full proto gear and coordinating with precision. And I'm not complaining about this, this is just what the "meta" has become, but the idea that you want new players, who will very likely be solo, using low tier gear, and with very little experience, to jump into this is just bad.

Basically all I am complaining about is that this shouldn't be something directed at new players, just veterans. That's just my 0.02 ISK.

Be careful sir, you are treading on thin ice. Using common sense could be considered a bannable offense?

Pretty sure the AUR versions are for the new players (what new players though?) while the LP ones are for the veterans. Not that that makes it any better though.

This is actually the only real issue I have with them as well. (besides the bug of course)

They really aren't feasible for a new player to obtain without AUR.
A good amount of time has to be spent in FW to save up that kind of LP...
