While it does kind of suck to be left out, I can see why they did it. Even a Militia BPO tank could really upset the balance of the game with Tanks being completely and totally unkillable towards basic Infantry, until someone brings out the proper counter that is. It is also a vastly superior money saver compared to any other BPO. Militia Tanks are 59.5k, far more than any other non-Proto BPO. A Madrugar with a Basic Plate, Hardener, Repairer, Large Blaster, 2 Small Blasters, Scanner, and Fuel Injector runs at 168.6k, more than double the price of the APEX suits. I think it is best for the balance of the game for BPO Tanks to not exist.
Still curious why people want Pilot Suits though...

This is why I think they should start with Turret BPOs, to test the water, before they throw in something crazy like Spammable ADSs.
1 person with an ADS BPO could spawn like 4 ADSs for their entire team. That would be P2W.

And in the case of dropship BPOs, pilots would actually hate them, because they'd be free kamikaze machines. :)

1. Frankly pilots do not even have some fo the basic BPO for vehicle modules, all i have are militia boosters and extenders i think the odd PG/CPU modules but these are milita stats in fitting also not basic |

HAVs and ADSs were God-mode for months. Don't even try to say that your "used to having to actually play". Nothing was ever more OP in this game, ever.
Or do I have to link that Judge video of how Swarms could literally not kill vehicles?

Yeah, you can buy them for 58k AUR, which would be $30, or you can grind out FW to get 100k LP and pay 10mil ISK for them.

I'm personally all for Standard Turret and even some module BPOs for vehicles.
Quafe Turrets in particular sounds like a cool idea to me. I know I would have liked a shiny pink turret way back when I piloted HAVs.
But Madrugar/Gunnlogi/Python/Incubus BPOs? No. That's a bit much.
At the very most I could see Militia Vehicle BPOs with unmodifiable Standard Modules/Turrets.
And no matter what the case, there needs to be a way to purchase them without Aurum, or they do become P2W. I actually think the LAV BPOs are P2W because of this. There really ought to be another way to get those.

1. Win mobile it is not
2. Pilots get nothing in general, look at the militia BPO there is barely any for pilots which would be modules
2a. FW LP store, again missing alot of pilot stuff for vehicles and the ADS are not even in plus pilots are stuck with all 3 turrets on the LP HAVs which make them harder to fit and risk bluedots getting in
2b. Cant even get any different skins for vehicles
2b. Have you seen the new Amarr and Minmatar HAV/LAV/DS/ADS/turrets and all the new modules? No neither have i ccp are just content taking away as much as possible
3. No not mad just telling a biased infantryman how it is who also happens to be useless and got voted in by less than 1% of the playerbase and really should go and play cod since they hate vehicles that much |
