Why not make an ISK to AUR exchange? We have an AUR ISK exchange. (Well, not really, but basically.)
This would give veterans who already have a lot of ISK an opportunity to purchase BPOs and other stuff without using real money.
I used the bolt pistol before it was (OP) cool.

You mean have a player market?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Give it six more years and CCP might sell you the option to access the player market for the low low cost of 120,000 AUR, and your firstborn child

It could certainly be done but the problem is finding a base level price that is acceptable. I have 50 million ISK. It isn't a lot but from people I hear crying and complaining how "that tank cost me 300k!" when they lose it or just complaining that they are out of money it is probably a decent nest egg. But then you have people that have over one billion ISK, most likely gotten from being in a Corporation that did PC locking and/or treating the Corporation Wallet like their own personal piggy bank. Anything I could realistically afford is completely meaningless to them. What isn't meaningless to them is something that is so far out of my Upper Middle Class range that it might as well not exist for most players.
There is also the fact that CCP does have the unsavory task of getting money from a fairly small player base...

I think 1,000,000 ISK 20,000 AUR is a decent amount, give or take a few ten-thousands.

No Dust is free to play. The company has to make money some way. They could add something like PLEX in eve to dust but that is also still as most people don't need isk . |

Hard to believe these are two divisions of the same company.

Hard to believe these are two divisions of the same company. Keeps rising? Until pheobe, eve experienced it's first downward trend in sub numbers. Have to see what happens post pheobe. The second part is fair play though. |
