I've seen many threads talk about them, but I'd like an answer from rattati. What is up with them. What are you ideas for them.
My personal desire is a flamethrower for amarr. One that looks like an hmg but is flames and is touched with amarr weapons. (Amarr look). Low-mid range. High area and damage. Shotgun like reticule.
For gallente, I'd personally like a different kind of "cannon" somewhat similar to its counter part, the forge gun. Give it a gallente look(rounder,bigger). Make it shoot wave like bursts of plasma with a one second charge between each shot. Also high are so give it a shotgun like reticule, good for infantry and av. Slightly stronger than a plasma cannon, but more effective at the cost of mobility and heavy use only. Low to mid range.
Minmatar-assault combat rifle, flaylock pistol, tanked, quick. Before you know it..........your dead.......

The Amarr Heavy Weapon would probably be something like the Spartan Laser from Halo I imagine. And the Gallente would be something like... Well I donno, I keep thinking XL Shotgun, or an XL Rail rifle, but that's silly.
Or maybe a Repeating Blaster. Like an XL Assault Rifle. Double the damage of the Assault Rifle, Same range, lower ROF. So, it wouldn't really be a cqc weapon.

I'd prefer an Amarr heavy weapon that basically makes a lightning arc to the point targeted. Charge up for a lightning strike that can send arcs to nearby reds. They already have an AV weapon if Templar One is any indication. |
