This game ALWAYS hard freezes on me, no matter what i a ******* doing IT CONSTANTLY freezes. I was in a PC, then FREEZE

How many chats channels do you have open?
The max you should have is 8. I have found that if you have 9, you will freeze eventually. 10 is a freeze within a minute.
Write down chat channels and start clearing some out. Many people understand if you aren't a frequent visitor to chat channels since we are not only limited by the system's software (limit of 10), but also by the system hardware (8 is stable, 9 and 10 will crash the game). That's what I had to do and I'm constantly opening and closing channels to make sure my game doesn't crash.

I wouldn't have any more than 6 additional chat channels open. Delete all of your unnecessary in game mail too.
For optimal performance, delete the game then re download and reinstall. Play with voice turned off in the options menus too for added performance.
If you really want to go all out then you can force a lower resolution in the playstation options. The game will run like a charm but it will look blocky as hell.

I have been playing Dust514 when they sent out email to ask us to all log in at a given time over the weekend. And I have never deleted Dust514 and re-installed it. Game plays fine.
If you have shut off voice and still have the problem you might check back in and tell us what is going on. And if you got it working then let us know what you did to fix it. Then we can share it in the future.
Please let us know:
What version PS3 are you using?
Possible heat issues.
Is your fan howling when it shuts down?
Definite heat issues.
Have you changed your hard disk?
This one is really important if you installed a 7200RPM drive.
It will fail.
Back to voice issues:
How many chat channels are open?
There are more possible suggestions but we need a reply.

F*k this cash grab fix the shit that matters: unkillable uplinks, invisible remotes on null cannon hack panels, etc.

If that doesn't work, I'd try reformatting your PS3. I was having some odd behavior after I installed 1.9, and reformatting then reloading the game from scratch seemed to cure my ills.
