Today I was running my scout gk.0 with 2 complex damps on the low slots and I have been detected so many times. Why?
Now that scans are shared with the team, you should take a chance for scouts to hide from duvolle focused active scanners.
So, here's my suggestion:
Gal and cal scout shouldn't be able to hide from focused scans with 1 complex damp, but with 2 damps it should be possible;
Min and am scout should be able to hide from focused scans with 3 damps.
I think it really could make this game better. |

You need two complex dampeners and a prototype cloak.

I only ever use the flux scanner because of how OP it is. Proximity scanner needs a huge buff, flux needs a nerf
Does everyone seriously use the focused though? It's such a terrible one to use unless you actually know where the scout is.

If you're in a GalScout with 2x Complex Dampeners, then yes, you need to turn on your Prototype Cloak for 5 seconds. You'll drop right off the TACNET as soon as you cloak up.
And nobody sane uses the Focused in pubs, it's so garbage compared to the Flux and Quantum scanners. There is a use for it in PC to force enemy Scouts to drop some lows on Dampeners, but ultimately not worth it outside of that. |

Put that third comp on. You gonna be full stealth? Then commit. OR accept that you will be scannable by someone who's more committed to finding the hidden than you are to hiding.

If Rattati hasn't changed his mind yet, focused scanners are going back to be squad only. Hotfix on Tuesday iirc.

scout+ twin KC = Plenty capable of running out of scanned area once lit, allowing scan to "wear off" and running right back to where you were if thats what/how you insist on doing w/e it is you are doing. Working, As Intended.

Active scans need a precision buff. Only a GalScout with 3 complex camps and a cloak should be unscannable. You want to be invisible, you better pay for it.
Proof that Rattati/CCP do listen to the playerbase.

gallogi 5 with duvvole focused should be allowed to see you. try using a 3rd damp to under. maybe 4.
