Am I wrong with this observation? Would love to get others opinion on this. They seem to suffer in every specialty out there. Ewar blind?! I mean seriously how are you assaulting anything if you can't see? Having my assault suit run with scouts has been a saving grace in this department, but why should I almost have to have a scout in squad for this?!
The same goes for literally every other benefit. Stacking ehp is the only viable survival technique for assaults and logistics when things get hairy?! You're sacrificing ehp for anything else you try to run I.e. speed or ewar. My commando dps keeps me able to actually run gallente plasma rifles effectively. On my gal assault it's hard mode, not because of the lower dps, but the fact that I'm not alive long enough to put it out?!
It's like playing handicap mode in a medium dropsuit, and their bonuses are hardly noticed. Only the truly ferocious hard core players use those suits now. Most have migrated to scouts, as they are the better assault choice, or heavies.
I would propose, even after we gained another slot already, another slot added. First however, I would propose much better class benefits than what currently exist. More base speed and ewar! Before we start adding slots, ehp, etc. Could we look at the base stats of the assault and logistics dropsuits. I believe they are too slow in the new layout. Speed kills, and logistics especially simply doesn't have any?! Assaults have to sacrifice far too much to compete with scouts, and still fall short in most cases?!
If you stack speed you will not survive most engagements with the large abundance of heavies running around. Closing in on one target means eminent death due to the lack of ewar. If I run assault as it was designed to be run I need a ton of support from all roles, and I'm not the go to guy for anything specifically. Scouts are the best benefit to a team period. Sentinels and logis have been forced to get along for survival sake as they are to slow to take on scouts solo. Commandos are better more efficient shooters than assaults.
Is there any new changes in the pipeline for medium frames in general? If the scouts get anything else I'm respecting all my points into scouts. I'm pretty sure I run commando more than anything else currently.
Your opinions are welcome, and yes I still think the rep tool should be modified as it has nothing to do with the Logistics dropsuit in general. I believe the dropsuit itself should be buffed.

Yep, and it should be the go-to suit that 80% of the players use IMO.
