This is bad for the casual playerbase, I have been doing nothing but playing dust whenever I get free time and still have about 600k to go to cap out. Try hards no life people can cap out and be loaded with SP while this kills of the casual player base.
Stacking boosters to speed up the process clearly won't work for new players as well. When one arrives in A Free to play game, I am pretty sure that person won't be spending money immediately. It took me 6-8 months before I decided that I enjoyed the game and will buy aurum to enhance my experience further
What I suggest is to have different SP caps for different tiers of lifetime SP, SP gain per battle could also be customized tier wise, For example;
upto 10 million SP - SP cap 750k/week - SP gained = 5 times WP gained in game upto 20 million SP - SP cap 600k/week - SP gained = 4 times WP gained in game upto 30 million SP - SP cap 450k/week - SP gained = 3 times WP gained in game upto 40 million SP - SP cap 350k/week - SP gained = 2.5 times WP gained in game upto 50 million SP - SP cap 300k/week - SP gained = 2 times WP gained in game upto 60 million SP - SP cap 250k/week - SP gained = 1.5 times WP gained in game over 60 million SP - SP cap 200k/week - SP gained = 1 times WP gained in game
I think this way new players have a better chance to catch up with veterans while keeping the veterans under check. More SP per match also helps casual players to cap out.
Note: This is only to bridge the SP gaps in the playerbase, people will still protostomp & new player tutorials are still terrible.

How is this different from any other video game that involves grinding and tryhards who no life their existence in a video game, having all the goodies and stomping casual players who only have time to play on the weekends or so?

Um...you realise a booster doesnt help you cap out quicker right? It just increases how much SP you can earn. By the its only being tested out. I think the 750k is too high. But 500k will be perfect. Also, it would not be fair for vets spending all this time gaining hard earned SP just for the casual player to stroll by and be like, "hey i just started a few months ago and i have 30 to 60 mil sp", to a vet that spent months if not a couple years trying to acquire SP. |

The other games do not have a highly detailed skill system like Dust which makes it unique. Try making a new character and play the same way as you do now.

So you're bacically saying screw the new players leave dust to the vets.

The point remains. There will always be some no lifer who spends 90 percent of their day grinding away in some game while some other chap is working or doing regular life stuff.

Its true but it doesn't mean that the game should only be fun for the tryhards who just grind away. I never liked proto stompning, neither on the receiving end nor on the giving end, when matches are close, they're mor fun and enjoyable.

It is available to anyone who takes the time to use the system. Casuals can't complain because...they are casuals. You just try to hedge your bets as much as you can.
I'm considered casual Dust player. The best I can do is make the most of my situation as I can. Throw some boosters on, work towards a goal, get that dropsuit fitting and weapon I like and make the most out of my matches.
I'm casual anyway. If it doesn't work out, I leave the game and go do some life stuff.

the 750,000 weekly bonus is only for a month to see how it goes.. where as the weekly hardcap is 750k too but only if you have used 3 boosters, i think the non boosted cap is like 250k or something
