Like ribbons and medals in Battlefield and evn trophies.
So stuff like a ribbon for 10 headshots and that counts towards a medal
Then you can see peoples medals and ribbons ingame

I'd like that, after 70mil SP is starting to feel like end game. Would like more things to strive for.
Considering dust is no longer to focused on big expansions and more lobby shooter this will be up there ally. Or maybe add a open player market.

id rather just have isk.. and salvage.. dont think iv had salvage in such a long time.. atleast nothing that was not 1 item i cannot use oe just MLT stuff :/

Makes sense. Halo 3 gives you a roster of top medals.

I like this because the medal make you feel good about yourself and reinforces the idea that you should try to do the best you can for the good of the team.
I am strongly against medals that say
Most Damage taken
Most deaths
Most Times Revived
etc.
because that just further reinforces the feeling that there is a huuuuge gap between vets and beginners. They are depressing and might put off newberries if that's all they see over and over again.
and I really don't want trophies. Sure, some people are trophy hunters, but I think it would force quite a number of people to try to play the game just for the trophies instead of just to have fun in a competitive manner.
*edit: I think the medals should not be permanent and just be there at the end of the battle results to kind of give a hearty slap on the back and "good job" feel to those who win them.
Otherwise the medals are practically trophies themselves.

I'd like that. MAG had a system like that and it was always nice to go back and look at all your shiny things. Dust could use some more bells and whistles.

Just another thought to my idea, what if they were collectables? They would appear on your character sheet like 43 medals for Most Kills Assist or what not. This could be used for recruiting to see what that potential player strives at. Maybe even be able to sell medals for a decent amount of ISK.

interesting idea but hacks could be all inclusive for any and all hacks including vehicles but dont forget the person who gets the most WPs too for "MVP"
