So far, I have been sticking with Caldari in regards to suits. Got myself Prototype Caldari Assault and Prototype Caldari Scout and I think Advanced Caldari Sentinel/Heavy. I have been reluctant to get Caldari Logistics considering the fact that the Standard level only has two equipment slots and the bonus is less than ideal.
Just wondering if having to use an Advanced Suit and having a shoddy bonus is enough reason to go with a different suit. Looking for any advice really.

Well honestly if you don't like the bonus just go with a different race but if your like me and wanna keep it pure I'd just deal with the crap bonus and play with adv suit.

Cal Logi carrying 25% stronger rep hives is fan-freaking-tastic if you ask me. Wyrkomi hives will heal almost 90 HP/s with a lvl 5 Cal Logi.

Minmatar is the rep king. If you want to make the biggest difference and get the most warpoints go Min Six Kin. |

honestly caldari logi sucks.
amarr logi isnt bad but it suffers ehavly form cpu and pg at adv+
best 2 options are gal and min.
min for reps/range/speed/dualtank
gal for active scanner supremecy / larger armor buffer higher innate armor reps.
both suits have no side arm and 3 equipment slots at standard and advanced, 4 at proto. i went proto min logi, never looked back tho i kind of want proto gal logi too so i can get some sweet revenge on scouts and all the pain and suffering they caused.

yes that seems nice in theory but they are popped with 1 melee hit or 1 flux, are stationary and are limited.
minmatar with core focused reptool.. its like near 190-200hp/s or something insane like that and the distance isnt that bad at 10m (7.5 on non minmatar suit)

First fit is essentially used as a Assault fit with no sidearm but it has cool logi magic and self-reps pretty well. Second fit is to be used as a pure support fit. "Hey Ahkhomi, that pure support fit doesn't have a needle. Why you faillogi?" Sometimes it's better to just drop a link and keep it moving IMHO not always but sometimes. "Why not super duper plate your fits Ahkhomi?" Well these suits are meant to travel/transition quickly and scouts and stuff.
Obviously i prefer the Minlogi but the Amarr logi is pretty cool with the sidearm and shaving seconds off of spawns can be really advantageous in crunchtime. Killing a sentinel and having him respawn in .04683135678 seconds is very annoying especially when there are like 57 on bravo.
And enhanced shield extenders are pretty good.

I went cal logi for looks, but its actually good as a logi. Put an advanced rep per, injector and rep hives (That last forever with cl logi bonus) and you're set for a team support underground battle.
44/4 in a BPO Scout (1.8) 40/5 in a Proto Assault (1.7)

If you are a patient grinder you could get Cal logistics, which has the most slots of any suit in the game. (Average prototype logistics suit slot 8 or so, Caldari logistics prototype suit slots 9)
If you had proto caldari logi and advanced shield regulators you can basically stuff all your lows with regulators and make your shield recharge delay non existent (And tank a lot of shielding with your highs as well)
Or if you want to be slightly with your gameplay you can use most of those slots for precision and dampening mods to imitate a scout.
The bonuses are useful(unless you mean them at levels under 3 in which they of course will be less than ideal)
The caldari logi skill at level 3+ with triage hives is still a cult classic for wp farming. |

Even though the Caldari Logistics has 9 slots to work with, you'll most likely have to fit a Complex CPU module on it since shield modules take a ton of CPU, and 459 CPU with max skills isn't enough...
I chose Caldari Logi to stick with my race.
It can be tons of fun, but also cause you a great deal of grief. Until Logistics themselves are balanced, Minmatar is the best logi, then Gallente/Amarr, and then Caldari.
The bonus is.. meh...
In PC, if you put rep hives and regular hives around your objective, you could get a pretty good deal of WPs without equipping a repair tool and laying gunfire of your own. It's a very niche suit, not all-purpose like the Minmatar.

In my experience being Gal Logi, it doesn't really matter much that your other equipment doesn't get a racial bonus.
I still do great with uplinks. I still have access to the Amarr LP uplink with a 6 second spawn time.
I still repair well. I can even throw ferroscales on my core focused fit to keep up with sprinting heavies.
I can still provide ammo, or turn a sniper/forger nest into a christmas tree.
However, it's a huge drawback that Caldari can't use 4 equipment slots. I suppose it's more of a battle-oriented Logi seeing as it has a ton of module slots, which makes sense with the "set it and forget it" mentality of nanohives. You should be content with not making as much WP as the other logis, and occasionally taking on a pseudo slayer role or maybe even a heavily shield tanked repair logi.

It's not really the suit that's all purpose,it's the bonus.
Every suit has armor and the bonus allows Min logistics to aid everyone.
Not everyone needs ammo as much seeing as if you're dead you can't shoot.
Not everyone needs to spawn all the time unless you're dead,which means you failed.
Scans,lol amirite? These are terrible as is and CCP wants them gimped even more.
My logi ranking would be,based on support ability:
1 Min -infinite tool allows something in your hands besides a weapon
2 Gal- same as above,it would be #1 also,but scanners suck,40 second cooldowns are insane
3 Cal/amarr -deployables run out leaving 0 options but to kill.
With all current equipment as they are,rep tools are the only ones that allow constant,consecutive support (which is why non-logis want them nerfed).
Deployables run out.
Injectors are now request only.
Scanners have LONG cooldowns.And are going to get even worse.
By the looks,all other equipment inspires 'free time',which leaves logistics with 1 option,killing.
Tl;dr There's a reason they're called WINMATAR
