I haven't bought a cod game and never will.
Although Destiny failed HARD. Bungie had a 500 million budget and that's all we get. A lame half ass story with the same idiot who says I could tell you about this but I would not.
And of how there are areas in the game but the content is there but is locked so its basically dlc crap.
Why couldn't bungie published the game by themselves but now there a slave to Activition.
MAG Raven vet 7 times. Favorite weapon F90 and Highest Kills 78 and 23 deaths.

It is a very popular thing to say "this game (particularly in the FPS genre) is dead" because a few months have passed. Jeez, it was like a a month into Titanfall until people were all going in on the "Titanfall is dead" bit. I dunno why but it seems like FPS has a lot more jumping in between than other genres. When one person wants to make a move to another, they often like to say "X is dead" and move on so as not to feel as if they have wasted their time on X. Just a personal guess, IMO.
Or maybe it is just because Titanfall and Destiny were both marketed as something that would be these big game changing things and just resulted in being FPS with some slightly different elements taken from other genre. *shrugs*

I will go for wastelands2, VtM: Bloodlines, Phantasmagoria 2 or Spacechem.

If you played the beta, you would know that Destiny is a pile of crap.
Dust is unique (and free to play) while it has it faults, there is nothing else like this on the PS3. I love this game, I really do and will keep playing until I can't play no more.

Honestly i like destiny too, its completely different style.
DUST is serious stuff, destiny is more like game for lolz if you want turn off brain and do some missions

All content will be propably on BR already and we will unlock it throught download of code payed through seasson pass or one DLC buy.
Im quite interested, i actually thing all that what we had now is just end of Destiny and DLCs will be prequels (remeber scene wil Queens brother on E3, he talking with you basicaly on same place where ghost ressurect you) etc. etc.

DUST rules all FPSs. Now that Rattati has got it on the right track balance-wise and they're adding content, it will just keep growing like a virus. The only thing is eventually its graphics will be pretty out of date (but that's true of all games), but hopefully by then Legion will offer the next gen. And maybe they can slick up the graphics on PS3.
Amazing how Dust has evolved through all the ups and downs, buffs and nerfs, not to mention some major shake-ups in CCP. It's a unique thing in the universe, and it get's better with age. I'm having more fun than ever.
Hmmm....I wonder if Gamespot would review Dust again. I think it's changed enough to merit it. |

Thanks to Rattati and his savior skills I'm jumping between Destiny and DUST, Destiny is still an enjoyable game in the PVE aspect while I play DUST for it's PVP. Now if Rattati could give us some pve over here then I would forget about Destiny completly.
Still, god knows that I will quit DUST once again when Dragon Age: Inquisition comes out.

well people like to buy shiney things they dont know what is actually GOOD. and the massive hype/forceful advertisments that the AAA rated titles use is just stupid.. take destiny.. its got the bare minimum to call it a game tho it lacks major content.. cost 500m dolla but i bet 2/3 of that was marketing

Lol @ you for still being in this room with the simpletons. CoD will always be the same, only thing that changes are the weapons . Also, I was looking into it to see what it was all about, looks a lot like what DUST is, except not as "Advanced".

For what? introducing more ways to milk the wallets from players? The game gets flooded by BPO's and now we have tripple booster stacking. They aint doing that for the players they do it solely to get as much cash as humanly possible. To be honest the game is not worth its time anymore. In the end dust will allways be dust and thats the problem with it. Every 1 just runs from OP crutch to OP crutch as quickly as they can.

Not yet it's too soon - not enough has been fixed and some of the old frustrations are still there - notice how on the new maps we still get stuck on 2" ledges?
Game can't be reviewed in this state - any sincere reviewer won't hide their frustration and the score won't change appreciably - it'll just serve to reinforce peeps existing perceptions/biases.
Better to keep on fixing and filling in content.
Because of New Eden, the game was always CCP's to lose. Nothing has changed. All that is required is a consistent string of rational gameplay-driven priorities, good decision making and the humility to reflect and learn from the inevitable mistakes that come with developing a game as complex as DUST. This applies to devs and players.
The massive uncontrolled variable is CCP Reyk management. Notwithstanding all efforts of devs and players, DUST/Legion will be made or broken by the hidden decisions coming out of those offices.

Shocked to hear that about Density /rolls eyes and I loved the ps1 call of duties that style game play was at least up to snuff then now all of the new ones have poor game play and grafix, but people buy them lol because they have such a huge promo budget and people are sheep.

You can actually, that's one of the few good things that the new COD has, you can customize your soldier a lot and show him or her off in the pre-game lobby, watch some youtube videos about it and you'll see it.

this guy is actually 10 years old and has no premice of a good game. Look i know the same feeling i was 10 once but you have to get out of your bubble of *** stains and cod and play some real games. I startedlaying destiny so I could take a break from dust, and it was fun while it lasted but when I heard about 1.9 it was back to dust for me.

Amazing how Dust has evolved through all the ups and downs, buffs and nerfs, not to mention some major shake-ups in CCP. It's a unique thing in the universe, and it get's better with age. I'm having more fun than ever.

I allready return, not because destiny is bad game, it is actually good game.
But the reason is that i am bored to destiny and another reason is dust is getting better i mean stuff like 1.9.
