This is purely my opinion but if we go 2.0 we won't be naming it uprising.

The "0" in 1.10 is a significant figure in this case, so no, it would not drop off. Lots of games have done this: Warframe, League of Legends, Grand Turismo 6, The Old Republic, etc.

These are version names, not numbers.
1.10 comes after 1.9
This is why GTA V is in ver. 1.16 and not "2.6"
Although it is completely arbitrary and for organizational purposes only. So CCP could easily name the next update "moosefarts 13" if they wanted.

Actually, 1.91 will take place in... 82 updates. I'm sure we will have moved on from uprising by then though, will have started over at a "1.0" multiple times...

Obviously if we reached 2.0 it would essentially mean the beginning of a new build with a new name like the recent Phoebe update which would honestly make sense and no be suprising.

The label is not really a number but a version, and the decimals separate degrees of magnitude. The first number would be a massive overhaul update. The second number would be smaller stuff like patches. Then technically you could have another Number sheet another decimal to indicate minor stuff like goodies if you really want.
So Uprising v1.9 man's this if the first major iteration of uprising and the ninth minor iteration (patch) of that. Uprising v1.10 would be the first major iteration of uprising and the tenth minor iteration of that.

You are mistaking that for a decimal, it is actually an identifier and not required to follow the rules of decimals.
